Mother’s Day is celebrated in many different ways. Instead of writing about my Mother’s day, I will show you what my family did by remembering children no longer with us.
Today was the planting of Ainsley’s Garden. Ainsley’s Garden is a memorial garden to remember children who are no longer with us. Flowers and stepping stones are placed in this memory garden to remember children who have either been lost by miscarriage, stillborn, infant or child deaths. Ainsley’s Garden is named after my granddaughter who unexpectedly passed away 2 1/2 years ago at the age of 3 1/2 months. The garden is located at the Mayo Health Center in Fairmont, MN.
