So, I participated (for the first time) in a Christmas in the Country gift exchange. As a participant, I received a name to buy a gift for, and, my name was given to another participant. I must say, this was a lot of fun!
I received a gift from Kim Fritzemeier of Kim’s County Line. Kim is from Kansas and you really need to check out her blog. She has lots of pictures and I just love it!
Anyway, to get back to the Christmas in the Country gift exchange.
And boy did she know me well! I loved it! She found out I love the Pioneer Woman with the salt and pepper shakers along with a small canister. And coming straight from the heart of Kansas was some biscuit mix and cornbread mix (which I made for Christmas eve). And, because we raise pigs, there was a couple of necessary “pig kitchen” accessories. But where Kim’s heart truly is – Kansas photography.
Kim LOVES photography is is an extraordinaire. I received a calendar and note cards showcases Kim’s photography. They are beautiful!
So this was a lot of fun! And because this was my first “Christmas in the Country” I now know what to expect. And if I do this next year ( and I will if it is available) I will do a little better with my gift.
Until next year . . .. #CITC2015
